Advanced Java training with Peter Lawrey

The training was organized by Cluj IT being an Advanced Java training with focus on Java 8, multithreading, concurrency, profiling & tuning. The training was divided in two sections.

The first one was emphasizing on baselining the speed of one thread, identifying when using multi-threading makes sense, what multi-threading model is appropriate for a given case, and how to use thread pools and fork join.

The second module focused on how to find problems with performance profiling, usage of JMH for benchmarks, and writing custom benchmarks, common pitfalls and how to avoid them.
