We are hiring mid or senior level GIS / Data Analyst to work closely with our team located in Cluj-Napoca. The team is providing services to a company located in the United States. Position Summary:
The PLR Analyst has a critical role within our Platform Location and Rates (PLR) team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing location intelligence, network infrastructure data, and pricing workflows in support of customers in multiple platforms. Reporting to the PLR Manager, this role involves working with GIS tools and data to analyze, update, and administer customer data. The PLR Analyst will play a vital role in supporting data accuracy, customer insights, and efficient data analysis processes.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in GIS concepts, spatial data analysis, and a passion for delivering high-quality data solutions to our customers in the telecommunications industry. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong skills in working with databases, including the ability to write queries to extract data from MySQL and PostgreSQL.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in GIS, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant GIS/data analysis experience.
- Strong knowledge of GIS and spatial data analysis tools.
- Experience using Alteryx for workflow automation. (preferred)
- Write queries to extract data from MYSQL and PostgreSQL or other (DBMS).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Telecommunications experience - particularly is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and update location data, layers, and rate data within the client's systems.
- Maintain and normalize customer data using GIS tools, ensuring accuracy and relevance to network serviceability and pricing.
- Perform spatial data analysis and provide visual insights for internal and customer data use cases.
- Incorporate maps, charts, and data visualizations into reports that highlight network coverage, serviceability, and customer data configuration options.
- Write queries to extract data from our GIS databases.
- Design and implement customer data configurations within the platforms.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities within the PLR process to streamline data imports, pricing updates, and customer insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the PLR workflows align with customer expectations.
